Today, Melissa and I celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. The photo above was taken the year before we married while we traveled in Wyoming.
Looking at these two children fills me with a sense of awe and gratitude at everything we have; our children, our dreams, each other.
Melissa, thank you for helping me become the man I wanted to be.

Oh Gosh! I come back to the motel to this wonderful message! Happy anniversary, baby. We have some kind of good life together. I wish we were together today, but I believe we will take Mexico by storm. We might not be that young, but we are still hip! I’m so glad we got to skype, at least. God, look at that photo. We had NO idea what we were doing. But we did it right, anyhow.
